In 2018, Lulu launched her private vocal coaching and instruction platform, Lulu Fall Vocal Studio. Fueled by her passion to teach proper vocal technique, Lulu specializes in the following: acting and storytelling through song; audition techniques; performance preparation and readiness; vocal longevity and versatility. Focusing on the raw talents of each student, Lulu believes that each student holds miraculous, and sometimes hidden, talents.  She molds her lessons with the intention of highlighting each students’ natural strengths. Her primary pedagogical focus is to marry the breath, phonation and voice. A performing arts expert, storytelling and adaptability are central focuses of Lulu’s teaching style - technical exercises like longtones, arpeggiated rhythms, breathwork and tone quality control are at the forefront of her instructional style.

In the beginning of her performing arts career, Lulu struggled with vocal fatigue and hoarseness, soon realizing that her vocal technique was not sustainable. In search of healthier vocal techniques, she began working with Aaron Hagen (vocal coach for Ariana Grande). Throat-singing, misuse and overuse of her instrument led to long bouts of vocal rest and recovery. This chronic vocal fatigue eventually affected her ability to emotionally connect to music material, instead unintentionally focusing on pushing to simply get the notes out. This total lack of sustainability was the impetus for the eventual development of her voice coaching and instruction platform. With her unique teaching style, Lulu largely believes in unlearning, relearning and retraining the instrument, all with love and patience.
